As a rather fussy child at meal times and her head always in cook books, Nerrida knew she was bound to be a chef. Nerrida’s training in the hospitality industry began in 5 star Hotels and reputable Restaurants where she gained invaluable and inspiring experiences, especially working alongside the senior international chefs at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.
Nerrida now heads up kitchen operations at Bluesalt Catering. She is passionate about creating exciting, fresh, quality foods that simply make people happy. She loves to eat Asian, American, European and Indian cuisines and often experiments with unique menus and fusion twists to showcase her knowledge of these cuisines.
When not in her chef whites, you’ll catch her at a local farmers market or checking out new eats with friends. She enjoys travelling to different snowfields to snowboard or travelling in general. She has a love for floristry, cabaret, vintage motorbikes, Asian culture, carnivals and circuses.
